Site administrator email on UAG

 

Where can you change/add the email of the site administrator in UAG 2010 at the login page. Or the "Contact Us" on the portal of simple send an email.

It seems that currently no option exists for defining this in the "Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway Management" console. But ....

 

 

Currently can it be done through changing the web page selves.

Site Administrator at login page:

    1. Go to C:\Program File\Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway\von\InternalSite\Languages (If installed on drive C)
    2. Copy your language file (for example: english => en-US) to .\CustomUpdate\
    3. Open the file and search for 'mailto:'
    4. Add the required email after the mailto: (for example: 'mailto:This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ')
    5. Refresh the page and it should then work. (Activate in UAG is not required.) Or activate your configuration and refresh your page (Best practices)

"Contact Us":

  1. Go to C:\Program File\Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway\von\PortalHomePage\DataSiteMap\Footer
  2. Copy 'LeftFooter.sitemap' to .\CustomUpdate\
  3. Open the file and search for 'mailto:'
  4. Add the required email after the mailto:.
  5. Activate the configuration

Keep in mind if the original page is updated (through a service pack or other hot-fix). Re-perform these steps for updating you changed file as well.
