Postby Darco » Fri Jun 15, 2007 1:05 pm

Hello,

Just for the fun hereby a script for performing a local backup to tape.
As you all may know it isn't possible to backup to file like in Win2K or higher

echo. >> C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log
echo Starting Tape >> C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log
echo. >> C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log
ntbackup backup C:\WINNT /d "Backup of Friday" /b /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"
ntbackup backup "C:\Program Files" /a /d "Backup of Friday" /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"
ntbackup backup C:\boot.ini /a /d "Backup of Friday" /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"
ntbackup backup C:\*.sys /a /d "Backup of Friday" /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"
ntbackup backup C:\ntdetect.com /a /d "Backup of Friday" /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"
ntbackup backup C:\ntldr /a /d "Backup of Friday" /t normal /l "C:\Backup\Log\backup_Friday.log"

Have fun with it
