The following command will review/download/install all Microsoft updates.

The advantange is that is only reboot once all patches are installed.

Get-WindowsUpdate -AcceptAll -AutoReboot -MicrosoftUpdate -Install

As mentioned, everything is downloaded and installed. Once this is done, even with failed updates, the system will reboot.
