Install Oracle Client on the workstation with as option ‘Application User’.
At the end of this installation configure NetworkAssistant as follows:

Unpack the file ‘perl.zip’ to C-Drive.
Add to the path environment the follogin line.
     C:\perl\bin

Unpack the file ‘scripts.zip’ to C-Drive.
Directory layout:

C:\ scripts     \new         ÞNew assets
          \bulk         ÞNew assets (Bulk)
          \inventory      ÞInventory

Updates will be based on the same file structure (Until everything is moved over to server).

The creation of new assets works together with a access file. This file is also the one which has the reports for barcode printing.
