Due to the fact that the imported user-id is in
uppercase and our DB is case sensitive, everybody has to login with
his or her Windows login-id in uppercase and they're assigned
password. All required ID’s are created locally on the
application server.
Based on that ID, rights are provided in the
system. This is performed by ‘Security’ on the
application server.
