Initial config Fiber Switch
Configuration on MSA 1000 (HP)
By default is the IP-address of the fiber switch set on 10.77.77.77.
  • Connect a PC/Laptop by a cross cable to the ethernet outlet of the fiber switch
  • Set on this system a IP address in the range of the fiber switch. For example 10.77.77.76/24
  • Open a browser and go to address http://10.77.77.77

  • Click in the left down on the icon "Zone Administration"

  • If not done yet, click on 'Alias'

  • Press the button 'Create' and enter an alias name.

  • Unfold the 'Member Selection List'

  • Select the item that you want to put together and press 'Add Member'

  • Select the tabulation 'Zone'

  • Click on the button 'Create' and provide the zone name.

    When done, press 'OK'
  • Unfold 'Member Selection List'

  • Select the members you want and press 'Add Member'

  • Click on the tabulation 'Config'

  • Press on the button 'Create' and provide the config name

    When done, press 'OK'
  • Unfold 'Member Selection List'

  • Select the members you want and press 'Add Member'

  • Go to Actions - Save Config Only
  • Save Config - Press Yes to save
    This will take a time to complet. Don't do anything until this is successfully committed.
  • Go to Actions - Enable Config
  • Select the configuration you want to enable and press 'OK'

  • Enable Config Name - Press Yes to enable this config
  • Result screen. Note that 'Enabled Config' is now "Redconfig" (the one we selected)
