Create the following user accounts (final names
will be assigned by the Solution Architect):
- Service
Cluster Account - Under which the cluster service will start on all
nodes.
- Service
Account for SQL Server - Under which the SQL instance will run. Be
careful: you will have one per instance, thus you can end up will
multiple accounts for one cluster.
- Service
Account for SQL Server Agent - Under which the SQL Agent will run.
Again the same remark as above: you will have one per
instance.
Beside this, you'll create 3 groups for 3
purposes:
- SQL
Server (Fill in the SQL Server account)
- SQL
Agent (Fill in the SQL Server Agent account)
