For good behavior the platform it's recommended
to set the binding order the systems as follow:
- First
the production network (on which the virtual node will respond, as
well SQL himself)
- Second
we place the network card, through which we 're maintaining the
servers. For example remote desktop when we're troubleshooting
possible issues.
- Third we
place the network card on which the heartbeat is going for the
cluster. Notice that this will be the preferred network for this
cluster item. In case of will the production system also allow the
heartbeat to cross the network between all nodes.
- Then we
place all other NIC's. Mostly are these not in use on the
cluster.
